FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS [FAQ]

Is this a live event? No! This is a self-directed online mini course. You can access the lessons it at any time. However the bonus zoom Q&A is a live on Zoom.

How long will it take to finish? The 5 video lessons are each less than 21 minutes long. You'll be able to finish all the material in 1.5 hours.

What's the course accessibility like? Each video lesson has closed captions (subtitles) and can be sped up or slowed down depending on your stimulation needs. The course material is available as a PDF and can be downloaded and printed at home.

Is the Q&A an in-person class? NOPE, the bonus Q&A will be hosted online, on Zoom. You can attend from anywhere (even your bed).

How to I access the mini-course? The course is available through an online platform called Gumroad. You'll be able to stream the videos from their website and download the course materials in PDF form.

Will there be a replay available for the Q&A? Yes! I will send out a replay link via email within a week of the live Q&A.

Can I submit questions if I can't attend live? Yes, absolutely. As the date approaches, you'll get an email with more information about how to submit questions, even if you can't attend live.

Is this a cooking class? No. We won't be cooking at all in this workshop. You'll be learning a strategy to reduce dinner overwhelm by planning your meals in advance.

What if I have special dietary restrictions? Will this work for me? Absolutely! This course will cater to your taste as well as your needs. I won't be giving you a list of recipes to cook, instead we will draw upon your personal meal repertoire. BUT lucky for you, as a gluten-free, dairy-free eater myself, I can give you a lot of ideas of meals that have worked for me.

I'm not sure I'm neurodivergent. Will this work for me? Neurodiversity is an umbrella term used to describe people who think and experience the world outside the expected norm. Whether you're "officially" neurodivergent or just feel like what I teach is helpful- if my work resonates with you, you're probably an excellent fit for the things I teach inside the workshop

Will there be diet talk? Will this course support my eating disorder recovery? As a food educator, I'm actively and imperfectly learning how to help people escape diet-culture.
There is no talk about weight loss in this course; and I share my opinion on why counting calories and macros is not a good idea.
However, I do base my framework of how to build a meal around the concepts macro- and micro- nutrients in some detail. If that is a sensitive topic for you, or that language will trigger disordered eating on your end, then this course may not support your health and wellbeing.
If you want to talk more about the content, PLEASE REACH OUT!
I can help you decide if this course is a good fit or not (your safety and wellbeing is my number one priority!)
